From our very own Elkhill Estate in Coorg, Scarlet Moon is an anaerobic fermented natural crafted with patience and precision. The name captures its fruit-forward character and the slow, deliberate nature of its fermentation and drying process. Produced using SL9 and Chandragiri varietals, this lot of Arabica undergoes careful fermentation and slow shade drying, allowing the coffee to develop layered sweetness, depth, and remarkable aromatic clarity in the cup.
The coffee covers the palate with tropical fruit and ripe berry notes, carried by a smooth, juicy body and lingering sweetness. Through this meticulous process, Scarlet Moon develops a refined balance of fruit intensity, sweetness, and structure, unfolding gently from the first aroma to the final sip.
A bright and expressive cup with layered fruit complexity. Notes of ripe papaya and mixed berries unfold beautifully, leading into a juicy, vibrant body. The finish is clean and lingering, wrapped in sweet aromatics that leave a memorable aftertaste - a cup that feels both refreshing and refined.
Carefully crafted through an extended anaerobic natural process, this coffee undergoes a 60-hour controlled fermentation to enhance its depth and fruit-forward character. The cherries are then slow-dried on raised beds for 25 days, allowing the flavors to develop gradually while preserving sweetness, clarity, and complexity in every cup.
